Not all pasta is unhealthy - especially when it’s green

Pesto sauce on shell rice noodles served with chicken and sauteed vegetables
Healthy pasta is an option tonight, ladies and gentlemen. Serve noodles, chicken and sautéed vegetable with a homemade blended pesto sauce for a hearty supper this weekend.

We prefer to serve this Pesto Sauce recipe with rice noodles as they are a gluten-free option to which avoids any unnecessary bloating and generally makes us feel better and healthier. Any type of noodle of preference can be served with this sauce.

As busy people in this busy world, it is sometimes hard to get the most nutrition out of the meals that you are eating. That’s why it is important to try to sneak important nutritious ingredients within fruits and vegetables that are needed throughout your busy day, whether it is in a smoothie or… in a pasta sauce.

Mastering your own sauce to serve with your pasta can incorporate this. The spinach leaves are one of the key ingredients in the recipe that adds a little nutrition into your pasta dish.

This pesto sauce recipe is great to add to your carb-filled meal to enhance your body and add a delicious taste. A couple of notes when looking at the recipes are:
Melly's recommendations:
1.     Use the stock water created from the boiled water used to cook the pasta. This is a key component to the sauce, allowing the sauce to evenly cover the pasta when it is mixed together. The stock is also important in thickening the sauce.
2.     For a creamier sauce, try adding an avocado into the blender, too. The creamy texture of it will create this want for a thicker sauce.
3.     In the recipe, I suggested putting four cloves of garlic in, but the amount of garlic you put in it will determine how much of a garlic flavour you enjoy. Because we love the taste of garlic, four cloves was perfect for us, so cater to your own taste buds.
